Man to Still Pay Child Support

A man whose daughter was four months from finishing boarding school is still being required to pay child support to her stepfather. This ruling was made despite a state law requiring an agreement in order to uphold "voluntary" support obligations. This was decided because the panel stated that this rule did not apply where the girl's stepfather shared legal and physical custody with the father under a court order after the girl's mother's death. The judge also ruled that the girl's age did not cut of support obligations.
