31-year-old Gregorio Luna Luna has been arrested in the Tri-Cities area for returning to Washington after being deported on May 1. According to Franklin County Superior Court documents, Luna Luna was deported after he was accused of stabbing his girlfriend, 21-year-old Griselda Ocampo Meza. Luna Luna was held on charges of domestic violence from January to March before being transferred to the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma. From there, Luna Luna was deported back to Mexico.
However, Luna Luna somehow made it back into the area and has been arrested. Police say that Luna Luna returned to stab his girlfriend. He is currently being held on $5 million bail while the prosecutor decides upon charges. Information was unavailable as to how Luna Luna managed to return to the area after being deported.
If you have been the victim of domestic violence, a family law attorney can fight to ensure that your abuser is brought to justice.
