Restraining Order Issued Against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. now has a restraining order issued against him for his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris and their two children together. This follows his arrest in September for letting himself into Harris' home, grabbing her hair, and supposedly punching her. During that incident he also threatened to harm his two children if they called the police or left the house.

For that incident in Las Vegas Mayweather accrued a list of charges: grand larceny for stealing his ex-girlfriend's iPhone, battery, harassment, robbery, and coercion. His most recent legal problem, the restraining order, prevents him from seeing both his children and Harris.

Mayweather did not show up to this month's hearing but is expected to return to court in January of next year.

If a spouse or partner is threatening to hurt you and your children, don't spend another moment in fear. Hire a family law attorney to protect your loved ones and ensure that legal damages are sought if something should happen.
