Charlie Sheen’s Ex Granted Supervised Visits with Twins

Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's 35-year-old ex-wife, was recently granted supervised visitation with her twin boys. Mueller had lost custody of the boys, four years old, after a drug overdose earlier this year. She was forced to go into psychiatric custody after the May incident but was later released and checked herself into the Betty Ford Clinic. The children were placed in the custody of friend and fellow Sheen ex-wife, Denise Richards. Richards cares for the two boys while Mueller continues her drug rehabilitation program. Mueller underwent random drug tests over the last 90 days and has been clean throughout that time. In light of that fact and her continuing treatment on an out-patient basis, a judge awarded Mueller twice weekly supervised visits with the boys at her Orange County home. Social workers transport the twins from Richard's home to Mueller's and stay on hand during the visit before returning the boys to Richard's home in Beverly Hills. Reports do not state at what point in Mueller's recovery that she will be able to regain custody of the boys or at least have more extensive, unsupervised visits with her sons.
