A husband shocked local officials when he filed forlegal separation after his wife had been declared missing. However, it seems that he has had a change of heart and has filed a non-suit to drop the legal separation request.
According to court documents the case for legal separation was scheduled to be heard this week. Although it isn't known why he changed his mind, the fact remains that his wife remains missing, since April 30. The last time she was seen was later that afternoon, dropping their two children off at the family's house.
The couple has been married since 1996, and the husband has since told local officials that she was clinically depressed and had recently expressed feelings of paranoia. He also told officials that his wife reportedly took $30,000 worth of jewelry and other items from their home just a week before she disappeared.
