Supermodel Seeks $46,000 in Child Support a Month

Although his new wife just bore him a daughter last year, a French billionaire has been ordered to pay child support to his former flame, a supermodel, to the tune of $46,000 per month.

While he may have suspected that he was the father of her child, the former supermodel brought the case to court his year. The child, now four years old, was proven to be the biological son of the billionaire. The ex-lover has demanded a sum of $46,000 monthly to compensate for a nanny (costing $80,000 yearly) and drivers for $175,000. These are no ordinary drivers, however, but former detectives who would provide security as well.

Since the billionaire can certainly afford the monthly amount, it would seem that the woman would be granted her desired sum. The judge, however, is not making it easy for her so far in the child support trial. When asked how often she works, the figure was very low, which could make it difficult for her to argue a need for the entire sum.
