Melissa Etheridge Files for Divorce

Singer Melissa Etheridge has filed for divorce from Tammy Lynn Michaels. Etheridge has filed a Petition for Dissolution of Domestic Partnership in Los Angeles and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce. Furthermore, she has asked the court to deny awarding financial support to Michaels. Etheridge and Michaels were married in September 2003 and have twins together. They have been separated since April 2010.
