A diner employee was rushed to the hospital and three people were arrested in the aftermath of an argument about child support payments that escalated out of control. A 26-year-old woman, T.T., was meeting with the father of her child at a diner in Canton Township to discuss child support. T.T. was apparently expecting a payment from A.H., their child's father (also 26 years old). The two began arguing and witnesses at the diner say that T.T. began yelling at A.H. and demanding money. T.T. left the diner while A.H. remained. A short time later, T.T. came back in wielding a baseball bat and accompanied by two other women. The group began yelling at A.H. and T.T. reportedly hit the man on the arm with the bat. T.T.'s alleged aggression spread toward employees who said she was swinging the bat at them as well. T.T. went into the kitchen area where one diner employee attempted to subdue her but the woman managed to send a pot of boiling alfredo sauce flying off the stove. The pot and the sauce landed on a female employee. The sauce covered part of the 46-year-old woman's face, neck and arms resulting in serious burns. Police and paramedics were called to the scene whereupon T.T. and her two friends were taken into custody and the injured employee was rushed to a local hospital with a burn unit. T.T. was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bond.
