Woman Lies during Child Custody Case

A woman once known for her jockey skills is now gaining fame for a different reason. She was found to be in contempt of a court order and was sentenced to three years in jail as a result.

The 41-year-old former female jockey told the judge and jury that her former lover committed sex abuse against her young daughter. Although those claims were finally dismissed, the woman paid the price for telling lies. The judge found her to be guilty of breaching a non-molestation order that involved her daughter, now seven years old.

Since the judge did not hold any hope that the woman could be restrained by a court order, he decided to give her the jail sentence. Time will tell whether time behind bars will help to reform the seemingly crazy woman.
