Washington Deploys Child Support Services Van

If you have questions about child support services in Washington, just look for a yellow van.
The Child Support Services Division has created a new way to educate the public about their child support options. A yellow van will be traveling through neighborhoods, staffed by people who are familiar with child support cases. Inside the van are two small offices where people can speak with a child support representative for free to learn more about their options. This is ideal for those who already have a child support case pending or active, and have a quick question about their case.
The department hopes to raise awareness about negligent child support payments and legal options. This is in hopes of reducing the nearly 40% of cases that had missing payments in 2010. Overall, the city has 50,000 active cases for child support.
If you have any questions about child support, call a family law attorney now to discuss your legal options.
