Retraction: “Facebook Leads to Arrest of Psychiatrist Handling Custody Cases”

A story was published on this site about material appearing on a private Facebook account leading to the arrest of a psychiatrist.Joseph Kenan, M.D..who handles custody cases. That report was inaccurate. We are unaware of any criminal charges against or wrongdoing concerning Dr. Kenan. He has not been placed under arrest. The Medical Board of California investigated the accusations made against him by several child custody litigants. Dr. Kenan’s license remains in good stead. We regret the mistake.
