Husband Order to Continue Alimony Payments to Missing Woman

Even though a woman has been declared missing for several months, a judge has ordered her husband to continue paying alimony.

Bob Heriford has been ordered to continue his monthly payments of $2,500 even though his ex-wife, Deborah Ann, has been missing since March. She was last seen walking her dog near her home; the dog was later found roaming around the area by itself. Although the two had filed for divorce months before, it was not final at the time of her disappearance. As a result, the judge ordered the payments be continued.

The investigators for Deborah Ann's disappearance recently announced that there is likely to have been foul play involved. However, no suspects have been named at this time, nor has her body been found. One clue that might lead to her whereabouts is Bob Heriford's girlfriend's car, which was impounded last week by Colorado Springs police.

If you are looking to obtain alimony, it is advised that you work alongside a family law attorney near you.
