Police Catch Man Who Owed $82,000 in Back Child Support

Deputies in Allegheny County have finally caught up with the man who has topped their Most Wanted list since 2004. Douglas Cecil, 53, now owes more than $82,000 in back child support payments and, as a result, will be forced to pay for his negligence.

Thanks to a mug shot posted on the county's website a tipster call to the sheriff's office was successful in leading officers to Cecil. While they knew that he had been moving between hotels in an attempt to evade arrest officers finally located him in a Coraopolis apartment building under the last name of Matthews. Officers were certain that they had located the right man when they found his car parked in the lot outside.

Cecil is now being held in a local jail awaiting a hearing for his overdue payments. The grand total is now $82,494 since the warrant was issued for his arrest in September of 2004.
