New Mexico Collects Record in Child Support

The New Mexico Human Services Department has reportedly collected a record number in child support. According to reports, the department collected more than $123 million in child support enforcement payments during the last fiscal year. The collections were reportedly up 7% from last year. The rise is attributed to the withholding of wages when a parent owes child support.
