Sarah Palin Obtains Another Restraining Order

Sarah Palin was successful in obtaining another protective order against the Pennsylvania man that has been threatening her family since 2008.

An Anchorage magistrate issued a 20-day restraining order against 19-year-old Shawn Christy, and has scheduled another hearing for May. She joins other plaintiffs who are also seeking a six month restraining order.  Last week Palin testified by phone that Christy has stepped up his efforts to threaten her and her family since the last time she requested a restraining order.

She also told the judge that Christy traveled to Alaska for the former governor's birthday this February. Joining her in the request for a restraining order are her friend Kristan Cole and father Chuck Heath, who want restraining orders against Christy's parents, Mary Karen and Craig Christy. At this time, only Cole's restraining order request against Mary Karen has been denied.
