Man Fires Gun during Child Cusotdy Altercation

In Greeley, it has been reported that a 24-year-old man was charged after an altercation involving child custody. The fight left one man wounded by gunfire said the Weld District Attorney's Office last week.
After the fight, Leonel Crespin Chaparro-Duran was charged with second-degree assault, two counts of felony menacing and criminal mischief. He was placed under arrest on September 4th in the city of Evans after fighting with a man who was shot outside of Duran's ex-girlfriend's residence.
It is reported that Duran went into the home to take custody of his son when the altercation began. His hearing has been set for September 29th.
