Cheryl Cole's Divorce is Final

Recently, singer Cheryl Cole and her former husband, Ashley Cole, were granted a divorce.  Cole is a football/soccer player and Cole is a member of the pop group "Girls Aloud" and also a judge on the TV show "The X Factor". 

The couple did not attend the court hearing on Friday when a judge approved of their divorce. The divorce becomes final six weeks and a day after the decree is granted.

The couple got married in 2006 and announced their separation in February. They are constantly hounded by British tabloids and well known within the United States.
