Reality Star Jon Gosselin Struggles to Make Child Support Payments

It appears that divorce is treating reality star Kate Gosselin much better than her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. Kate has been back on the air with a spot on Dancing with the Stars and there are rumors of her own show in the works. Jon, on the other hand, has received primarily bad press and is apparently lobbying for his own show, but to little success.

"It's killing him that Kate is having all of this success," a source close to Jon told TMZ. Jon is apparently strapped for cash and looking for a new television gig, possibly as a host. "I just can't afford the $22,000 a month right now," said Gosselin, who reportedly tried to sell his $30,000 BMW to help make his payments.

Jon fired his lawyer who recently called Kate an absentee mother and instigated a child custody battle. Jon told TMZ, "I never wanted primary custody, [List, Jon's lawyer] filed for that. I only wanted a more flexible custody schedule so I could be with my kids."
