An Oklahoma state lawmaker is taking steps to prevent divorce as he believes it is one of the most costly concerns for the state. Representative Mark McCullough is trying to get two matters into action in order to prevent possible divorces. One of the two would require every couple to go to at least eight hours of counseling before they get a marriage license. The other legislation would require that couples with minor children to go through mandatory pre-divorce education before a divorce will be granted.
