Amber Alert Cancelled during Child Custody Case

An Amber Alert was finally cancelled in Garfield Heights when the one-year-old boy in question was found.

Gauge Cox was discovered near Warren and his captor, Charles Walker, 56, was brought into custody by the Bazetta Township Police Department on Saturday.

He was charged with interfering with child custody matters according to Garfield Police. The little boy was discovered at the home of one of Walker's relatives. The people present at that time were completely cooperative with the police.

The little boy had been missing since Friday around midnight the day before.
