Spencer Pratt says Marriage was a "Sham"

Much speculation has been surrounding the marriage and divorce of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.  Last week Friday, it was reported that Montag had filed for divorce.  However, a friend of the couple says that she was recently at their home and everything seemed fine.

Lauren Stoner said that Spencer just visited with Heidi after reports had surfaced that the couple broke up.  She said, "I saw Spencer; he seems really normal. He actually showed us his new project he's working on."

However, last week, Montag moved forward with filing for divorce and cited "irreconcilable differences".  Immediately following her filing, Pratt gave an interview and said that his marriage was a sham from the very beginning.  He said, "I love Heidi, but our marriage was a show. It was part of 'The Hills' world."
