Nevada Governor Finalizes Divorce

Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons is officially divorced from ex-wife Dawn. The couple had previously reached a tentative divorce settlement in December 2009 but were still arguing about a number of details. The former couple originally filed for divorce in May 2008, citing incompatibility as the reason. The governor compared his wife to an "enraged ferret in a phone booth" when he filed the documents. The divorce will leave Gibbons paying alimony for the next five years.
