Divorce Ban Moves Forward

A California man is working to have divorce banned in California. John Marcotte, of Sacramento, is proposing the 2010 California Marriage Protection Act. He wants to make it illegal for couples to get divorced in order to save traditional marriage. Recently, the secretary of state's office approved his measure which means that he will now be looking to get 700,000 signatures to qualify the measure for the June 2012 ballot.
