Paternity Test Confirms Jude Law is a New Father

A paternity test has confirmed that Jude Law is the father of Samantha Burke's daughter, Sophia.

Burke, whom Law met and had a brief relationship with last year, gave birth to her daughter in September, but Law refused to see the child until a paternity test proved he was indeed the father.

Law's spokesman said the actor will financially support his daughter, but is no longer in a relationship with the actress/model and does not wish to start up a relationship again.

Meetings are currently being arranged for Law to meet his new daughter for the first time. Until he was informed of the test results, Law was careful to only communicate with Burke through his attorneys.

Law has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost, and is the step-father to Frost's oldest child from a previous marriage.
