Ohio Names Top Child Support Collections Agency

Each year child support agencies are given evaluations to determine just how well they are performing. Upon reviewing the statistics from agencies across the state, the state of Ohio has congratulated its top performing metro agency.

Butler County was found to be the top-performing county in the state. The state office evaluates each agency on multiple criterions, including best performance in paternity establishment and best collection efforts for those cases that have arrears. While this is a serious pat on the back for the employees of that agency, this recognition is even more important for other reasons.

The highest performing agencies are given incentive funds to help them work even harder the next year. These funds come from the federal government and can make the difference in how many parents are helped in the county.
