Pete Rose Files Divorce Papers

It came as a shock to some in the baseball industry today that Pete Rose has decided to end his marriage of 26 years.
The MLB great filed the divorce papers in the Los Angeles Superior Court wherein he asked the judge to end his marriage to Carol Rose. They have been married since 1984. Rose cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation.
In a show of good faith Rose has stated that he will pay spousal support to his 70-year-old wife. However, the amount has yet to be determined. He also left the date of separation blank, which comes as a surprise to many that have known about his relationship with a much younger woman. Rose brought his model girlfriend, Kiana Kim, onto the Howard Stern show last year to brag about their sex lives.
