Woman Pursues Man Who Owes Child Support

Even though she is already owed $15,000 in child support payments, one woman continues to pursue the man responsible for making them.

The man in question has been evading child support payments for almost ten years. Now that she has located him once again, a restaurant in the area is now preventing her from collecting what is owed to her children. To make matters worse, the restaurant is owned by a city councilman. This official was scheduled to appear in court last week but, when he did not appear, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Bill Burgess, marketing director for the County Department of Job and Family Services commented that although it is rare for the Child Support Enforcement Agency to target an employer for payments, it is has been done before.
