Jennifer Williams Files for Divorce

Although fans of the show "Basketball Wives" were already familiar with the impending divorce between Eric Williams and wife Jennifer, it seems as though she just filed for divorce last week.

On the show, Jennifer discussed filing for divorce earlier in the season, but sources discovered that the two didn't file papers until last Friday. The reality show star filed for divorce at the Hudson County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences for their split. They were wed back in 2007 in the Bahamas, but Jennifer has spoken about Eric's ongoing infidelity, even so far as to just a few days before their wedding. Although these rumors have not been confirmed, neither have they been denied by the offending party.

In the divorce filing, Jennifer has asked for alimony (maintenance) and an "equitable" distribution of assets. There are no children from their marriage, although the Eric has reportedly fathered an illegitimate child with another woman.
