Teacher Takes Out Restraining Order Against Student

School has become tense in Vacaville, CA where a teacher has taken out a restraining order against a 13-year-old student.

Julia Davis, a teacher in Solano County, claims that the student tripped her intentionally causing her to break her arm. In court papers filed last week Davis states that "this pupil might attack again as retaliation. I do not feel safe." Davis is also targeting the school district who she believes has not done enough to expel or transfer the student. Yet Vacaville Police have not found any evidence at this time to prove that the tripping was intentional.

When the local news station spoke with the boy's family, they expressed. However, the boy's father, Robert Molina, added that "We don't want to drag anyone through the mud. We want our day in court."

The two parties will attend a hearing on Feb. 2 to discuss the temporary restraining order even further.
