Former News Personality Arrested for Domestic Abuse

A former news personality has been arrested for the second time in a span of four days on domestic violence charges. Dennis Edwards is currently being held in the Baltimore city jail; his bail has been set at $500,000 by a District Court judge.

Edwards, 54, faces of multitude of charges including harassment, telephone misuse, malicious destruction of property and violating a protective order (restraining order). When he was first arrested Edwards was charged with assaulting his wife in their home on Dec. 29. His wife said that she was shoved down by Edwards, causing her to hit her head on the floor. At that time Edwards posted the $20,000 bail and was recently shortly after. When he was released Edwards commented that, "It's not what it appears. It's not accurate, nor is it true."

If someone you love has been causing you undue pain and hardship, it might be time to get a restraining order against them. You can do this more easily and with confidence if you have a family lawyer on your side.
