Publicized Divorce Case Postponed

A divorce case that was set to go to trial was postponed at the last minute by both parties.

The divorce trial of a politician was pushed back to December 29^th when both parties agreed that they might be able to reach a settlement. Rather than duke out their differences in court, the two have agreed to a period of mediation in order to come to an agreement. The two were married for 13 years before deciding to end their marriage. At this time, neither party is discussing what exactly is at contention in the divorce proceeding.

Their constituents were surprised when the wife filed for divorce while they were still running their primary election campaign.

The couple has three sons together.
