Actress Gets Restraining Order Against Stalker

While most women would be flattered by the attention of a Frenchman, one actress is none too pleased.  According to the documents filed at a Los Angeles court this month, the actress is seeking a restraining order against a man that lives in France but has traveled at least five times to see her.

Even though he has written over 50 letters to the young actress, she has not responded to a single one. Undeterred by her lack of interest in him, the man reportedly sold his home in France so that he could travel to see his love.

The 51-year-old tested the actress' resolve for the last time when he showed up at her mother's door. Unnerved by his bold attempts to contact her, the actress has asked the court to grant her a restraining order. She was given a temporary order that can be made permanent later on if necessary.
