Teenager Awarded Restraining Order in Stalking Case

The former girlfriend of a teen popstar was successful in obtaining a permanent restraining order against a man who has repeatedly threatened to kill her.

Based on the testimony she gave in court last week, the older man has been terrorizing the teenage girl for some time now. What started with malefic messages turned into hateful videos posted on a social site that threatened not only the young girl, but her younger brother, mother and current boyfriend.

In the videos, the suspect claimed he would locate the young girl, then rape and kill her in due time.  After watching these messages, the court quickly determined that the girl needed a restraining order against the man.

The man has since been ordered to stay away from her and her family members and cannot come within 100 feet of any of them. The man also cannot post any more threatening messages on the internet or send any through other forms of electronic communication. If he does ignore the conditions of the restraining order, he will be sent to jail.
