Former Governor Seen Out with Soon-To-Be Ex Wife

Despite their very public divorce, a former governor enjoyed his soon-to-be ex-wife as a guest at his birthday party last weekend.

The couple was joined by two of their four children while having dinner at Barney's, a famous restaurant in the area. Many were shocked to see his wife there, considering the massive blow she was dealt when she learned about the illegitimate child he bore with their housekeeper. However, she was certainly polite during the dinner, which might have encouraged the scorned husband to call her "darling" several times. The sweet words appeared to mean little to her as she left the dinner alone.

In addition to fighting over spousal support and lawyer's fees, the couple is working with their respective attorneys to break up their marital and personal assets. Since they did not sign a prenuptial agreement, it is assumed that their net worth of nearly $400 million will be split equitably.
