Actor Falls Behind on Child Support

Even well-paid actors fall behind on their child support payments which means that they can also be arrested for their negligence.

That is the case for one star who was found to have missed $17,209 worth of payments for one of his children. Since he had failed to make any payments between 2008 and 2011, the state attorney's office was able to build a strong case against him. As a result, he was charged with one felony count of failure to pay child support.

Once agents were able to track the star down in Detroit, after noticing a flyer with his name on it, they arrested him at home. This was only after they spent six weeks attempting to contact the star by phone and mail about his negligent payments. Although his bail was set at just $3,000, he was not immediately released from the Oakland County Jail.
