While Maryland is reportedly going to begin debating the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Act soon, other states are starting to extend rights to same-sex couples. Hawaii will reportedly soon allow civil unions under the new governor. Rhode Island’s governor will reportedly sign a same-sex marriage bill into law. New York reportedly plans on their governor pushing the state legislature to pass a measure that is related to same-sex marriage.
