Nas Signs Agreement to Catch up on Mortgage Payments

Recently, hip hop singer Nas agreed to sign an agreement that would allow him to catch up on late mortgage payments. At this time, it is reported that Nas is $53,000 behind and that his home is being occupied by his ex-wife Kelis and their son.

He lawyer representing Nas has filed a plan that has the rapper paying $17,500 initially. Then, each subsequent month, he has agreed to pay $15,000 instead of the $7,800 mortgage payement.

It is reported that Nas owes Kelis $300,000 in alimony. Kelis' attorney asserted that the rapper makes at least $240,000 a month. Rumors have circulated that Nas would like to just sell the home.

Nas and Kelis ended their relationship in April 2009.
