Forging Paternity Paperwork Leads to Woman's Arrest

In the state of Alabama, law enforcement officers have officially charged a woman with forgery.  They claim that an investigation revealed that two signatures on court documents regarding a paternity test were, in fact, fake.

Now, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department has moved forward with charging Amanda Hazen with two counts of forgery.  After a two month long investigation concerning the paternity documents, the Alabama Bureau of Investigations found that counterfeiting had occurred.

On the documents, Lawrence County District Judge Angela Terry's signature was clearly forged and a fake name was listed as the other judge.  Police believe that Hazen had sent false the documents to her ex-boyfriend.

If you need assistance with the establishment of paternity, now is the time to speak with a family lawyer.  A family law attorney can help you with paternity testing and represent you through all facets of your paternity matter until it is resolved.
