Brian McKnight Owes Zero Child Support

Not too long ago, a woman by the name of Miriam Lee had filed a lawsuit against R&B singer, Brian McKnight. In her suit, she claimed that McKnight was the father of her 14 year old son.
The singer never addressed Lee's claim, and as a result, a judge made a default ruling that McKnight was the boy's father and ordered him to pay 14 years worth of child support, making the total owed $41,640.
However, following the ruling, McKnight had a DNA test. The results of the paternity tests reveal that McKnight is not the father of Lee's son. Therefore, he will not owe any child support and the order will no longer be valid.
If you are being asked to pay child support and you believe that you are not the father of the child in question, it is important that you work with a family law attorney that can help you with DNA testing and challenging paternity claims.
