Judge Rules in Favor of Fantasia Barrino's Boyfriend

A judge in North Carolina has finally put an end to the rumors surrounding singer Fantasia Barrino's relationship with ex-boyfriend Antwaun Cook. Cook's ex-wife, Paula, claimed that Antwaun had been with Fantasia before they were legally separated, causing much heartache and grief to the singer. It is reported that this incident is partially responsible for the singer's attempt on her own life.

However, the judge ruled that the Cooks had been legally separated on September 14, 2009, way before June 2010 when Barrino and Cook were seen together. This coincided with the lawsuit that Paula had brought against Barrio that accused the singer of ruining her marriage after a sex tape was leaked to the public. Paula had originally believed that her ex-husband met Barrino during the second week of August 2009 before their separation was legal.

Her struggles with the relationship and her suicide attempt have all been chronicled on her TV show "Fantasia for Real" on VH1.
