Tia Carrere's Divorce is Finalized

This week in Los Angeles County Superior Court, a judge finalize the divorce between Tia Carrere and Simon Wakelin. Aside from ruling that the couple would have to share custody of their child, the judge also ruled that the couple must share a movie script they were working on together.

Legal papers show that the two have a solid prenuptial agreement that handles most of their property except for a script they wrote together for a movie dubbed "Wave Dancer".

According to the documents, Tia will walk away with most of the assets and property. However, the couple has agreed to split "all income derived from the script." Production for the movie, which Tia will star in, is slated to begin sometime this year.
