Kris Aquino Seekign Annulment

This week, lawyers for TV host and actress, Kris Aquino, told news sources that she is seeking an annulment from her husband James Yap. It was announced that Kris is not just looking for a legal separation as she wants an annulment.

If a marriage is annulled, the two spouses can never marry one another again. However, if spouses legally separate, they have the option of re-marrying in the future.

Aquino has already declared that her marriage with the Philippine Basketball Association star was void or ineffective from the beginning. Still, the law firm representing her will not reveal the true reasons for the separation.
