Governor Jim Gibbons still has not had his divorce from Dawn Gibbons finalized even after a judge adopted a settlement agreement. The reason for this delay is that the judge made it a condition of the divorce that the governor pay his wife $275,000 before the divorce would become final.  The payment is her half of their shared property and will allow for the divorce to be finalized.
