The Long Island Center for Divorce Mediation helps clients divorce or separate through mediation. In other words, we handle all aspects of 'uncontested' divorces and separations.

Our Center as been in business for 25 years, led by Fred Klarer, Esq., our five-star divorce mediator attorney. Fred conducts all mediation sessions with his partner, Diane Kramer. He then develops the Stipulation of Settlement, the contract betwwen Spouses. In the last step, Fred assembles the Divorce Packet, all the paperwork that needs to be submitted to get a legal divorce. He also handles and files Separation Agreements.

During the mediation sessions, issues to be mediated include: child support and custody, spousal support, all financial matters, pensions, the house, etc.

Fred has many years of experience as a divorce attorney in Suffolk County and Nassau County. He is currently taking only a selected set of 'contested' matters.
