In a contested divorce, either the parties disagree about getting divorce in the first place, or, the couples disagree about the issues at hand, such as child custody and asset/property division, or it can be a combination of any of the above. Divorce can easily become heated and volatile, especially when there has been adultery. In these types of cases, all too often, emotions run high and jilted spouses can become very vengeful.
