Rose McGowan Granted Restraining Order

Actress Rose McGowan was granted a restraining order against a man who has attempted to threaten her agent in an attempt to contact her. On March 11, 2011 she went before the judge to receive the three-year restraining order against the Connecticut man, Louis S. Santo III, who has threatened those close to her.

Although she did not attend the court hearing, represented instead by attorney Aaron Shelden, she stated that she was "severely unnerved" by his actions. Convinced of her imminent danger Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Kenji Machida ordered Santos to stay away from McGowan until 2014. Santos even told members of the press that he had written a script for McGowan in the hopes of meeting the actress.
